Class I Project Show

Jaspal Kaur Public School, Shalimar Bagh, organised an Annual Project Show, for Class I on Saturday, February 17, 2024, on the theme 'Family Threads: Weaving Love, Crafting Joys’ in the school premises.
The programme commenced with the rendition of a Shabad, followed by the lighting of the lamp. The event was graced by Mr. Sandeep Singh Kathuria, an eminent educationist. Dr. Reena Gupta and Mr. Gagandeep Arora- our proud alumni were the Guest of Honour. The school Chairman, Sardar Surjeet Singh Ji, and Vice Chairperson, Mrs. Rasna Singh, also presided over the function, among other dignitaries. The school Principal, Mrs. Asha Saran Srivastava, warmly welcomed all the esteemed guests and addressed the audience.
To infuse the morning with radiance and positivity the students performing Saraswati Vandana. The young Jaspalians stepped into the rich culture of Bengal with the song ‘Dhitang Dhitang Bole’. The dancers, adorned in beautiful costumes, moved in perfect harmony, creating a visual spectacle that left the audience captivated. Inspired by the famous story ‘Idgah’ by Munshi Premchand our students gave a soulful performance on the story 'प्यारी दादी' (Dear Grandma), showing how simple moments and family love can be truly beautiful. Next was the play, 'A Hat of Happiness,' which put forth the message that families are like cozy blankets, wrapping us in warmth, support, and love that never runs out. It reminded us to cherish moments with our families, be creative, and spend quality time together. When we work as a team with our loved ones, it brings us immense joy.
Mr. Sandeep Singh Kathuria, the Chief Guest, addressed the audience and appreciated the efforts of the students and staff for putting up a spectacular show. Dr. Reena Gupta and Mr. Gagandeep Arora, the Guests of honour, remembered their old times spent in the school and motivated the students to perform their best according to their capacity and capability.
