Guru Purab
Guru Nanak Devji’s 550 th birth anniversary was celebrated in the school with great zeal. His teachings were imparted to the children through moral stories. Children really enjoyed the show.

Dusshera and Diwali
Dusshera and Diwali were celebrated with great pomp and show. Children came dressed up in traditional attire. Through these celebrations feeling of unity and togetherness was imbibed into the children. They were exposed to different cultures and religions of the society.

Talent Hunt
Talent Hunt activity was conducted on 25 September2019. Children got an opportunity to exhibit their hidden talents. They performed really well by presenting items/ performances like songs, dances, enactment, yoga, magic tricks, etc. It was a treat to the eye to visualize the young buds expressing themselves and performing their talents.
Art Competition
An ‘Art Competition’ was held on 27 September 2019. The theme was ‘My Toy’. The children expressed their creativity by drawing and colouring their favourite toys. This activity helped in enhancing their emotional and aesthetic development. They took keen interest in expressing their flair of art by drawing teddy bears, dolls, mermaids, castles, cars, rockets, airplanes, etc.

Water Conservation Day
(Story Telling Competition)
“ When you conserve WATER, you conserve LIFE”
We at JKPS, organized a ‘Story Telling Competition’. The theme
was ‘Water Conservation’. Children expressed themselves
beautifully by telling moral stories. They used appropriate props
like puppets, placards, charts, posters and handouts. Their
participation made them aware of the need and ways of saving
water. They also gained self-confidence and learnt not to waste
water.

Baisakhi Celebration
The festival of Baisakhi brings joy and fervor. We at JKPS
celebrated Baisakhi with full zeal & enthusiasm and our
kindergarten quadrangle. Students spoke confidently about the
festival on the mike and presented a scintillating dance
performances.
Earth Day
Earth day is celebrated on 22 nd April every year. We, at JKPS,
had a special assembly to sensitize our children towards our
environment. Children planted the saplings and watered them.
They also wore ‘Earth Day Head Gears’. ‘Nature walk’ added to
the flavour of the special day. The mesmerizing song sung by
the children left everybody spell bound. Children took a pledge
to stop using ‘Polybags’.
ADVENTURE CAMP
J.K.P.S believes not only in achieving excellence in academics but also in co-curricular activities. We aims in shaping the personality of our young minds through participation in different soft and fun filled adventure activities. So to achieve this goal, “A Day Adventure Camp†was held for students of kindergarten on 05th November 2018. Our children enthusiastically participated in various activities like commando net, zip line, hopscotch, magical maze, Burma brigde, tug of war. Our young budding kids were excited to participate in all the activities. It was a new and a memorable experience for them. They confidently completed various tasks and had feeling of self accomplishment and were full of energy anddwice indeed, it was not only an enriching, motiving and unforgettable day.

GANDHI JAYANTI CELEBRATION
On the auspicious occasion of birthday of “Bapu†our young kindergarten children joined hands in reliving the Gandhian Era for an entire week from 1st October to 5th October. The activities started with the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, where all our Tiny Tots tried to clean every corner of your school followed by coloring Gandhi ji famous Charkha , gaining knowledge about Gandhiji’s three famous monkeys and learning the importance of truth, non violence and Injustice. At the end, Dandi March parade was done where all kids followed a boy inpersonated as Gandhiji saying “Bande Mein Tha Dumâ€
VICTORY OF GOOD OVER EVIL

COLOURING COMPETITION
Colouring helps children develop good finger breath. Colouring requires good concentration and this type of focusing on one task can help a child develop his or her overall concentration level, keeping this rin mind we organised colouring competition on 14th August children did colouring in the objects drawn on the sheet. They really enjoyed the activity.
INDEPENDENCE DAY
“Live responsibly because our heroes suffered their lives so that we can live all peaceful environment†HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY Our kindergarten children were also informed about the importance of Independence Day. And the tinge of patriotic fever was automatically influenced into our children. They enjoyed this scenario to the fullest. They all where best app in tri colours. There were programs depicting different states motivational speeches by our authorities also added colour to the show.
Baisakhi celebration
The festival of Baisakhi was celebrated with great pomp and show by the kindergarten children at JKPS. Children were dressed up in beautiful Punjabi attire. Beats of dhol encouraged everyone to dance. It was a wonderful and Joyous show.
Earth day celebration
Kindergarten students celebrated earth day conveying go green message. Each and every child was wearing head tiara of a cut out of a tree or of earth. They wore green satin ribbons on their wrist to emphasize more on the saying “ Go Green and Save Earth”. Children planted seeds and watered them. Moreover the school gardener was there to help them. They conveyed the message for the world to follow” Save Earth”.
Nursery Project Show 2017-18
Nursery Project Show was organised on March 17, 2018 in the school auditorium. Happiness and the celebrationsvibrated in theair. Theprogramme, initiated by seeking the blessings of the Almighty through a shabad recital, was followed by lighting of the ceremonial lamp. The stories presented in unique ways were “Sun goes on a holiday†and “ Princess Septemberâ€. The beautiful messages conveyed were “Everyone is important in this universe†and “Big or small, save them all†Items like song and dance were also a part of the show.MrsMadhu Suri was the chief guest of the show and the guest of honour was MsShubhraGoel. Overall, the programmewas highly appreciated by them and the parents. This not only built the confidence but also gave stage exposure to out tiny tots.
RAINY DAY
Children enjoyed the rain dance party. They were thrilled to bring their colorful umbrellas and rain coats. The artificial rain which was created stole the show. The colorful umbrellas and the rain coats seemed as if a rainbow had been created in our school premises. Children danced on the music. This magnificent activity left an unforgettable memory in everyone’s heart. Not only this, they also relished hot pakoras in their lunch break. The whole kindergarten department (staff and students) is looking forward to such an activity to be held in the near future.

Republic day celebration
Republic day celebration of pre primary To enlighten the spirit of patriotism in our little wonders we celebrated republic day through “ National leaders enactment competition and flag colouring competition . Young children were really enthusiastic to dress up as their favourite leader and they spoke lines on them confidently. Children payed tribute to Abdul Kalam, Subhash Chandra Bose, Sarojni Naidu, Indira Gandhi etc. Not only did they learn about our old leaders but also about our young generation leaders. The children learnt to be loyal towards their country and feeling of patriotism was deeply embedded in them.
