Virtual Tour
Virtual Tour To Mother Dairy Milk Factory
Milk is an important part of young children's diet and plays an important role in their growth. To emphasize the significance of having milk and milk products daily, we took our Pre-primary students to a Virtual Tour of the Milk factory on 9 April 2021. Students learnt how milk is processed and reaches us safely without any germs.
Baisakhi Celebration
Baisakhi is an important festival celebrated in North India as the crop is harvested on this day and it is a day of enjoyment and celebration. To emphasize the significance of this festival, we had an Assembly on Baisakhi on 13 April 2021. Students were beautifully dressed up in traditional attire. They made ‘Kaara Prasad’ and delicious delicacies. Students were also engaged in an attractive craft activity using coloured sheets and buttons.

Enactment as Animals
Learning by doing makes learning more effective and interesting. In order to make Students understand more about animals and their unique features we conducted ‘Enact as an animal’ activity.Students dressed up as their favourite animals,used attractive props,wore animal masks and head gears. They spoke few lines describing their favourite animal. It was a very informative and exciting activity for students.
Welcoming Winters
Winters are not only time to feel the chills but also to enjoy hot soups, selective vegies ,bonfire etc. In order to make our students understand Winter season ,they were asked to wear jackets,mufflers,gloves etc. Students were also taken to a virtual tour of Winter Season. They were really excited to see the snowman, trees and mountains covered with snow all around and Ice skating.

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION (PRE SCHOOL)
The Independence Day of India is celebrated religiously throughout the country every year. India celebrated its 74th Independence Day on 15th of August, 2020 and we at JKPS also celebrated it virtually for the first time with the complete fervour of patriotism. Both Preschool and Pre- primary started the show with the serene shabad followed by Colouring in Taranga role play of our great Freedom Fighters. The celebration was summed by the NATIONAL ANTHEM.
LEARNING IS FUN
KAVITA VACHAN
Kavita Vaachan was organised for kindergarten children. They were given the topic 'Varsha Ritu'. They learnt different rhymes in Hindi on various topics like Kale baadal, Varsha ritu, Barish aayi, Badal raja. This activity gave virtual stage exposure and enhanced confidence of our tiny tots.Janmashtami
Janmashtmi celebrates the birth of Lord Krishna and our young buds made beautiful flutes with the help of their teachers using materials easily available at home. Students dressed up in traditional wear and some of them dressed up as lord Krishna too. Students not only enjoyed eating delicious white butter and mishri but also learnt to Sing Hathi Ghora Palki Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki. It was indeed a mesmerizing experience to watch our students dancing and enjoying to the fullest.Raksha Bandhan
All the children were beautifully dressed up in their traditional attire. They made creative rakhi using mirrors, ribbons, bindis, golden thread and stickers. The children understood the importance of this culture so they used their handmade rakhis on the occasion.JULY ACTIVITY
SAVE WATER ASSEMBLY
With the onset of monsoon, a save water assembly "Drip Drop Drip" was organised for the Preschool and Pre-Primary students. Children joyously pledge on how to conserve water, learning and understanding different colours of the rainbow i.e., VIBGYOR, performing magical tricks with the colours, turning water into different colours.DRIP DROP DRIP ACTIVITY
'It takes a lot of blue to stay green.'Drip Drop Drip activity was organised for the Preschool and Pre-Primary students. Here the students made headgears of a water droplet, rainbow sweet and beautiful colourful paper boats. The active participation by all the children left everyone spellbound.
DOCTOR'S ACTIVITY
'Medicines cure diseases, but only doctors can cure patients.'The young minds of Jaspal Kaur Public School paid homage to the medical profession by celebrating Doctors' Day on July 01, 2020. Jaspalians had a virtual assembly where children participated and enacted like doctors. They beautifully expressed their gratitude through card making and poetry recitation.

Independence Day
Independence Day
was celebrated with great pomp and show by the Kindergartens. They presented various scintillating performances like songs, dances and skits. The National Flag was unfurled by our School Principal. Last but not the least, this day is a day to remember our bygone patriots who laid down their lives for the freedom of our motherland. The programme was concluded by singing out the National Anthem.
Janamashtami Celebration Children came dressed up as Krishnas and Radhas. Different tableaus were displayed to show the different life stages of LORD KRISHNA like Krishna’s birth in kaaragaar, Maakhan chor , Krishna- Sudama’s friendship, etc. A temple was decorated beautifully and the cradle of Lord Krishna was swayed by one and all to seek the blessings on this auspicious day.
