PROJECT SHOW CLASS 1

It is rightly said, “Imagination is the beginning of creation”. As an endeavour to produce world leaders, JKPS provides the students with the wings to fly high in their imagination. Combining scholastic and co-scholastic activities help us achieve this aim.
JKPS provides a range of platforms for the students to identify and foster their talents. Project show is one such platform that allows students to show their potential and talents. The school organized a virtual Project Show of students of class 1 on 16 January 2021 on the theme --- Children - our canvas of Imagination. The Principal, Mrs. Asha Saran Srivastava welcomed and addressed the audience. The guest of honour Mr. Rahul Chadha, a JKPS alumnus and a Hongkong-based Chief Investment Officer, presided over the function. He praised the efforts of the students, teachers and staff for putting up a spectacular show. The school chairman, Sardar Surjit Singh Ji and the Vice-Chairperson, Mrs. Rasna Singh also graced the occasion with their presence.
The best performance of the evening was a heartwarming medley presented by the students of Class 1, “MY DAD MY HERO”, where children offered gratitude to their dads for their love, effort and hard work put in by them in raising their children. The imaginative and inquisitive nature of the children was highlighted through a beautiful story “Where does the Sun go?” Next was an enchanting fairy tale “Tooth Fairy” where children wished and prayed the Almighty to end this pandemic soon so that all of them can go to the school physically and meet their teachers and friends. Each talented and creative young mind of Class I participated & contributed to this mesmerizing project show.
The show ended with a vote of thanks by the Head Mistress, Mrs. Shikha Dhameja followed by the National Anthem.
