Pulsating Patriotism: Independence Day Celebration
With great fervour and a spirit of nationalism, the JKPS fraternity celebrated the 74th Independence Day on 15th August morning The function began with the rendering of shabad followed by flag hoisting by the Principal, Mrs. Asha Saran Srivastava. Head Mistress, Mrs. Shikha Dhameja, few faculty members, administrative and support staff enthusiastically sang the National Anthem invoking the spirit of our great Freedom Fighters and martyrs. In her short address, Asha ma'am reminded us about our sense of responsibility during these special times and paid homage to our Army jawaans and Covid warriors.
The patriotic song, led by the school's music teacher, marked the culmination of the ceremony. The spirit of Patriotism was further augmented by the plantation of an Ashok sapling by the Principal, headmistress and the Eco-Club teachers in the front lawn of the school. As it grows, this sapling would stand to be a reminder for all Jaspalians to stand tall as proud Indians, willing to shoulder our duties and allegiance to our country at all times!
